This page has many techniques and it's full of textures! I added a paper from the Vintage Spring Basics collection to mat my photo.  I'm playing with this page in Scrap Africa -Distress challenge, well I did many different distress techniques in this page, I distressed with my scissors, I tried with a knife, too, but the fun part was the chalk distress.  I added texture to the background paper " The Magnificent Flowerstreet" with a mask by Heidi Swapp (hearts) and molding paste, then I added some mash tape, lace, flowers to the borders of the papers then I applied gesso and painted with Shimmerz paints. love layers and dimension.... Photos!!!...Scrapper Place Event- Maja Design classes

Hello lovely friends! Last November, I gave two classes in the Scrapper's Place Event at Hotel Marriot in Aguadilla, PR...and I was so busy with my move and all that it involves that didn't show you photos of the event.  Both classes were with Maja Design collections, Prima flowers, cherubs, mask and more.... I began with a full house Saturday but I didn't take photo of the entire group, well first day means a little of stress, I was giving class to one hundred girls at the same time so I took pair of photos to some girls working in their layouts. Next day, Sunday, Rebeca, the owner of Scrapper Place took some photos and I'm sharing with you today.  Thanks to all the wonderful ladies that attended my classes, it was an awesome experience. Saturday SUNDAY ... me with the Sunday's group that didn't talk...only work and work, they finished both layouts!! Thanks for your visit!!! Have a great day

Today I share with you another spring page using various Maja Design collections: Vintage Spring Basics, Vintage Summer Basics, Vintage Autumn Basics and Walking in the Forest collection. Here are my kids and this photo make me laugh, I was taking a photo of these two and I said "cheese" and my kids put these funny faces at the same time, lol, that every time I see this photo make me smile and I wanted use it in a page and finally I did it.  I'm playing in OUAS and B71B challenges with my page. I was inspired in the OUAS April sketch and the theme and made the flowers by hand like B71B challenge. Some fussy cutting (clocks) from the XVI paper-Vintage Autumn Basics collection. I love dimension on my work so I draped the paper and I used 3-d dots. All the flowers except the big one are handma

Welcome Spring with Maja Design - April Moodboard

Hello! Finally looks like Spring is coming here and it make me happy!! I love to see all beautiful flowers and the trees are wearing green leaves! Today I share with you this spring page I made about my DD Paola using one of my favorite collection...Vintage Spring Basics by Maja Design .  My inspiration was a full pleated skit that I made a time ago and I created the same effect with the Maja Design papers. I tie the tag with a jute and added cheesecloth around the flowers. I cut the tags, butterflies and the tittle from the "Days to remember" paper All the flowers are from Prima and I made the leaves using two punches one from Martha Steward and the other from Stamping Up. Supplies: Days to Remember, 4th, 6th and 7th of May papers by Vintage Spring Basics collection, Prima flowers, Martha Steward & Stamping Up punches, Liquitex gesso, acrylic paint. It's April and Maja Design has a new mood board that has a Easter theme and is based in the Vint

Hello lovely scrappers!!!  It's another month...   and it's time for the April reveal at My Creative Scrapbook kits ...Four new kits for every scrap style plus many add-on. This month I worked with the Limited Edition kit that is featuring CratePaper..."Oh Darling" and so much more... Here's my first page..for this page I cut the doilies from one of the papers and used them like layers behind for photo, by the way the photo is a memory of DD Paola when she was four years old. I made an embellishment cluster using the chipboard, stickers, flowers and wood butterflies from the kit. I love this photo of my girl. I cut only half of the paper doily the other part I used it in my bottom portion of my page. 2-The Sweetest of Moment I played the chevron design paper and mixed with this lovely flower paper.  I added some gesso, molding paste, stencil and the sequins in the background .  I cut my tittle from one of the Crate papers.
